Two lead actors who can carry a movie, a series by themselves, and - in a good ensemble - achieve near perfection? Sounds good!
Plus a number of promising lesser know ones, a familiar scenario but not an exact copy (unused era/place combination, AFAIK),
that could be great.
I watched the first episode, and had trouble finishing it.
It's all so ... lifeless, by the numbers, formulaic; it's the opposite of "gripping" and "immersive".
